Greece Day 6 -
We had quite the party night last night with everyone on the boat including the Alan and Amanda. We went into town for dinner, all of us together, and drank some wine then came back to the boat, threw some music on and danced the night away. It is such a blessing that 8 people on a 50 foot catamaran get along so well. I'm sure we were the loudest boat in a full harbor. It was a lot of fun. We finally got to see the fun and crazy side of Alan and Amanda.
After breakfast and a bit more shopping, we pulled out of the harbor and headed off to another pristine beach for a lunchtime snorkel, swim and sun. We have had such an amazing time here! Captain Alan taught Dave a few new knots so he was excited about that. We drove by a mega yacht and none of us could quite understand why someone would buy a yacht so big. All we could see were the crew of the boat. Such a waste of millions of dollars. But to each their own I suppose.
We are now off to Agia Effimilia, where we will take a 3 hour trip to see some caves, and do some wine tasting. It will be a nice break from the boat.
Best photo ever of you and Dave...looks like so much fun.....Happy for you two.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to islands I have never heard of - can't wait for the report. PS My mom and Dad are addicted to those giant boats. They are spending my inheritance on them.
ReplyDeleteYeah we are in the Ioanian region in the west. Have to go to the east next time since we do eventually have to go back to work Boooo....
DeleteWhat fun and it looks like Alan may be recruiting Dave for a job down the line, could come in handy for your retirement future:}
